GlossyBox is a beauty subscription box service that sends you a lovely reusable box filled with 4-5 deluxe and full-sized products each month for only $21/month and FREE shipping! There's an online survey worth 20 'glossydots' each for every product you get in your box which is pretty neat. Referrals earn you 200 'glossydots' and a total of 1,000 'glossydots' earns you a free box.
Two (or three) of the items were featured in the spoilers but the other 3 were a complete surprise!
#1: The Original BeautyBlender; white - Full Size @ 0.14 oz/$20.00
Blender Cleanser - (Full Size @ 6 oz/$17.95)
"BeautyBlender.pure is an ergonomically designed colorless sponge applicator that allows you to flawlessly apply your makeup and skincare. It's designed to be cleaned with its partner BlenderCleanser - making it super eco-friendly. Great for sensitive skin."
--- I'm allergic to latex so this item being latex-free and including a sample of the BlenderCleanser is pretty awesome. There's quite a lot of hype involving this sponge. It's a soft sponge that fits perfectly in my hand. The pointed tip allows for easy blending when it comes to the corners of your nose and under your eye compared to the regular wedge brush. I've recently switched to using a foundation brush but I gave it a try. A sponge is a sponge. It's nice to have when you have to use it wet but I don't see myself paying that much. The BlenderCleanser on the other hand does have a scent to it, kind of reminds of a very light tea tree oil type scent, but it isn't bothersome at all.
#2: Vichy; Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream - 0.5 fl oz/$9.11 (Full Size @ 1.7 oz/$31.00)
--- Thumbs up to being paraben-free. I read so much about hyaluronic acid, It's been promoted as a "fountain of youth". I have been using the Hada Labo Toner and Lotion combo and have to agree that it is very moisturizing. This product has a light lotion scent which isn't overpowering. I'm sensitive to smells but I do believe this won't irritate as is says it's for sensitive skin. The 48-hour hydration sounds very promising.
#3: Balance Me; Super Toning Body Wash - 1.7 fl oz/$7.00 (Full Size @ 3.4 fl oz/$14.00)
--- I love a product that utilizes the use of essential oils. Again it's a light scent but it's smells really nice!
#4: BellaPierre Cosmetics; Mineral Blush in Desert Rose - 0.13 oz/$18.57 (Full Size @ 0.14 oz/$20.00)
--- It's a nice natural blush color. I was actually needing a new blush but this wasn't what I was looking for. I actually wanted something with a bit more color since what I've been using was already natural. This is however a wonderful everyday product which I will look forward to using once my other one runs out.
#5: Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe; Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray - 2.5 fl oz/$5.51 (Full Size @ 6.8 fl oz/$14.99)
--- I don't normally use hair products but hey, we can start here! If you like that beach hair look then this is the product to help you achieve it without the beach stink. Okay, not that funny, but really if you need texture use this. It has a pleasant smell that isn't too strong.
OVERALL --- I'm satisfied with this box. I haven't even finished last month's Anatomicals Body Wash and Naobay Moisturizer and now I have more to replace it. I have something new for my hair that I've never tried before, a mineral blush, and the crazed BeautyBlender+BlenderCleanser to try out. Two months in to the subscription and I haven't had to contact customer service yet, Hopefully I won't have to. There was also the email they sent out to let us know that they didn't receive some of the products on time but the fact that they have managed to send out the box and have it arrive sooner than last months made up for it. Well, there was nothing to make up for actually, all this just makes them better company.
